Another week. Another spotty week of running.
Bah. I’m getting tired of this.
Sunday: Rest
Monday: 3 mile run + 100 crunches and 30 push-ups (15 x 2)
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: 25 minute HIIT (high-intensity interval training) for me- that means sprints
Thursday: Rest
Friday: 30 minute incline walk + 100 crunches and 30 push-ups (15 x 2)
Saturday: 6 mile run
I have been starting work at 5am this last week…it’s putting a damper on my sleep and my energy. Next week, I think, should return to normal working hours (we’ll see).
Now you might be asking yourself why I don’t work out in the evening (if I am getting up at 2:30am to try to get a workout in). That actually is a good question. The answer: I guess 2 reasons- 1) I really am a morning person, so working out 1st thing is much easier 2) I am mentally tired lazy after I get home from work. If I change clothes, it’s going to be into my comfy clothes- not workout clothes (see, I’m lazy).
Nothing new on the racing front for me, but check out Kristy, as she runs her 10th marathon this weekend (and shoots to break a 4 hour finish time!) You go girl!!
Questions of the day:
1) If you are participating in the 100 push-up challenge…how’s it going so far?
2) What time of the day do you prefer to workout, and why?

started at week three….pushups are hard.
I agree Jay! I think I sweat more doing push-ups, then when I run!
Thanks for the well-wishes!!!
