Another week…another weekly running recap!
Monday: 30 minute run outside
Tuesday: 30 minute incline run (treadmill)
Wednesday: 11 miles outside
Friday: 30 minute incline run (treadmill)
Saturday: 45 minute run outside
I took advantage of having the day off on Wednesday, to get my long run in. I have a busy weekend, and did not want to miss this run, or stress myself out by trying to find the time to fit the run in. The 11 mile run was not very pleasant. It was already in the high 70′s when I took off (7am), and kept getting hotter. The humidity was also really high, so I think that is what affected me more than the heat itself. I know it is good to get out there in the heat and get my body used to it. It’s easy to become spoiled running on the treadmill, with the fan on, in an air-conditioned house!
